iPhoneography SA Exhibition 2012 – Check!

Let’s just get this straight – I am not a photographer. I don’t know much about anything photography-wise, but I do enjoy taking photos and trying to capture the feeling in moments. My photos are special to me and I love them.

So when I heard that the iPhoneography SA Exhibition entries were open, I thought I’d give it a go. The iPhoneography SA Exhibition is all about showcasing South Africa’s best iPhone photography, hosted by Marc Forrest and iStore. You don’t have to be a photographer to enter, so I thought ‘Why the hell not’.

One of my images was chosen! I’m totally stoked and really, really proud. The image that was chosen is called “Pier” and was taken in Umhlanga while walking along the promenade after a night of heavy storms. I felt that it really captured my feeling at that time and am over the moon that that is the one that was chosen to be part of the exhibition.

No, you can’t see it now – come to the exhibition on Thursday 11 October (this Thursday) at the Sandton iStore and have a look for yourself. It will be on sale, so if it touches you too…well…
