Yes I think it is a preferred choice for people in the Winter. We visited in the early Autumn just after Easter. The weather was still beautiful, but in this venue & after the buzz of the Biscuit Mill down the road, things were looking a little dreary, with too many high carb, deep fried, options & very few fresh fruit or veg. These photos show that seasonal change could mean menu changes too. Perhaps in the summer this could be a smarter antiques flea market for bargsins from the surrounding stores, but in the winter the food returns with comforting & nourishing selections?

Thanks for your comment, Michelle and I see what you’re saying – makes sense. I much prefer the vibe of this market to the loud and more commercial feel of the Biscuit Mill, though. Perhaps things have changed since you last visited as we saw loads of fresh fruit and veg and there were healthy eating options such as sushi, quiche etc. They also do have a monthly vintage market there as well, which is a nice touch!

    Hi PopCornCandi

We do only Low Carb goods (sugar and gluten free) and we are at The Palms too 🙂 So yes, the scene may have changed quite a bit!

    best regards
